Kevin Zalewski and Lawrence Geraghty had unassisted goals in the 31st and 37th minute as the New Jersey Rangers shut out the host Bermuda Hogges 2-0 Sunday in USL Premier Development League play at the Bermuda Athletic Association.
The Rangers, 3-2-0 with nine points, are tied for third place in the Eastern Conference's Mid-Atlantic Division with the Jersey Express (3-1-0) and will host Reading United AC this Sunday.
Bermuda is winless in its first two games of the 2011 season and join the Central Jersey Spartans (0-3-0) and the Brooklyn Knights (0-4-0) at the bottom of the division table. The Hogges next travel to the Westchester Flames June 8.
