Pontius Goal Keeps United Unbeaten In Last Three Games

Chris Pontius' unassisted goal in the 62nd minute allowed host DC United to play the defending Major League Soccer champion Colorado Rapids to a 1-1 draw Saturday at RFK Stadium and made them unbeaten in their last three games.

Drew Moor had an unassisted 23rd minute goal for the Rapids.

DC is 3-4-3 with 12 points and is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. They will travel to JELD-WEN Field May 29 to take on the Portland Timbers.

The Rapids are 4-3-3 with 15 points and is in fourth place in the Western Conference. They will host Toronto FC at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO next Sunday.
