Tiffany McCarty scored a goal off Anisa Guajardo's assist in the 87th minute as the Pali Blues kicked off the 2011 USL W-League season with a 1-0 victory over the expansion Los Angeles Strikers Saturday at Cal State Fullerton.
The Blues next host the expansion Victoria Highlanders this Friday, but the Strikers get first crack at them Wednesday.
