Jason Massie and Andrew Rigby led the host MPS Portland Phoenix to a 2-1 victory Saturday in USL Premier Development League action over the Vermont Voltage at Collins-Perley Sports Complex in Portland, ME.
Eushum Yoshida has Vermont's lone goal.
The Phoenix lead the Eastern Conference's Northeast Division at 3-0-0 with nine points, while the winless Voltage (0-2-0) join the New Hampshire Phantoms (0-3-0) in the division's cellar.
Both MPS Portland and Vermont next face the Western Mass Pioneers -- Vermont hosting them Wednesday, Portland traveling to them Friday.
