Lions Roar To 6-1 Romp Over Demize

Tarik Sehovic and Gavin Smith each had braces and Kenny Kranz and David Flores put in solo goals as the host St. Louis Lions roared to a 6-1 romp over the Springfield Demize in USL Premier Development League play from the Tony Glavin Complex for their first win of the season.

Jonathan Hinds had the Demize's lone goal off a Craig Rogers assist.

St. Louis is now 1-3-0 with three points for fourth place in the Central Conference's Heartland Division and will travel to the Kansas City Brass next Saturday.

Springfield is winless through four games of the season, is in last place in the division, and travels to the Real Colorado Foxes next Saturday.
