Lenhart Lends Hand In Earthquakes Shutout Of Crew To End Losing Streak

Steven Lenhart teamed with Bobby Convey on a Khari Stephenson goal in the 52nd minute and scored off a Joey Gjertsen assist in the 59th minute as the host San Jose Earthquakes ended a six-game Major League Soccer losing streak with a 3-0 shutout of the Columbus Crew Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, ending the Crew's seven-game unbeaten streak.

Defending Golden Boot winner Chris Wondolowski scored the first of their goals that came in a nine-minute, second half stretch off assists from Ryan Johnson and Brad Ring in the 50th minute.
