Late Goals By Orlando City Give Them USL PRO's Best Record

Thanks to late second half goals from Maxwell Griffin and Lewis Neal, Orlando City Soccer Club took over the lead in the USL PRO American Division and the best overall league record with a 3-1 victory Sunday at the National Division's Harrisburg City Islanders at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island.

Orlando put their first point on the board in the second minute off a Jack Traynor assist and the lead held for most of the game.

Harrisburg tied the game in the 80th minute as Jose Angulo fed a pass to Dustin Basso, but Orlando broke the tie in the 90th minute when Lawrence Olum assisted Griffin, then Neal hit the game-winning penalty kick in stoppage time for Orlando City to improve to 6-1-2 with 20 points, a point ahead of the Richmond Kickers (6-0-1, 19), in the American standings.

Orlando City will host the Charlotte Eagles at the Florida Citrus Bowl June 2, then travel to the Wilmington Hammerheads June 4.

Harrisburg fell to 1-2-2 with five points and fourth place in the National Division standings. The City Islanders face the Charleston Battery this Saturday at Blackbaud Stadium.
