Islanders To Face Guyana's Alpha United FC In CFU Champions Cup Semifinal

The Puerto Rico Islanders of the North American Soccer League, the defending champion of the Caribbean Football Union Champions Cup, will face host team Alpha United FC of Guyana in the tournament's single-game semifinal round May 25 at National Stadium.

Should they win, the Islanders will advance to the championship game against the winner of next Wednesday's other semifinal match between Trinidad's Defence Force and Haiti's Tempete. If Puerto Rico loses, they will play in the consolation game that same day.

The finalists, along with the consolation match winner, will automatically qualify for the Preliminary Stage round of the 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League.
