Highlanders Goalkeeper Mitron's Saves Earns Him USL PDL Player Of The Week Award

Victoria Highlanders goalkeeper Elliot Mitron, who stopped two second half penalty kicks from being converted in a 1-0 victory over the defending USL Premier Development League champion Portland Timbers U-23s Saturday, was named the league’s Player of the Week for Week 3 of the 2011 season.

Mitron started in place of regular goalkeeper Trevor Stiles, who was injured.
