Larry Geraughty's goal in the 47th minute was all the visiting New Jersey Rangers needed to defeat the host Ocean City Nor'Easters 1-0 in USL Premier Development League play Sunday at Carey Stadium.
The Rangers, 1-2-0 with three points, are tied for third in the Eastern Conference's Mid-Atlantic Division with the Westchester Flames (same record) and the Jersey Express (1-1-0). New Jersey travels to the Central Jersey Spartans this Wednesday.
Ocean City is winless in its first two games of the season and shares last place in the division with the Spartans (0-1-0) and the Brooklyn Knights (0-3-0). The Nor'Easters will play at the Express Friday.
