FC New York Stun Rhinos For First Home Win Of Franchise

Jhonny Artega's second-half stoppage time gave expansion FC New York a 2-1 victory over the Rochester Rhinos for their first USL PRO home win at Belson Stadium at St. John's University Monday.

Qwame Holder scored the game-tying goal for New York after allowing Frank Alesci open the game for the Rhinos.

FC New York is 2-4-3 with nine points and are tied for third in the National Division with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. They will next host the Charleston Battery Friday.

Rochester is 3-4-2 with 11 points and is in second in the same division. The Rhinos will travel Friday to play Antigua Barracuda FC.
