Dutch Lions Move USL Doublehader Event Due To Poor Field Conditions

The Dayton Dutch Lions, who have teams in USL PRO and USL W-League, announced Thursday a planned doubleheader against the Charlotte Eagles' franchises in both leagues at Fifth Third Field in Dayton, OH, home to the Dayton Dragons minor league baseball team, has been moved to the Dutch Lions' home pitch of Bellbrook High School, due to field conditions and safety concerns.

Due to several consecutive days of heavy rainfall, Dragons officials felt the field would not dry properly in time for Saturday's planned event and the Dragons are scheduled to host the Benoit Snappers there beginning Tuesday.

Fans with tickets to the Fifth Third Field doubleheader can use their tickets for Saturday's game at Bellbrook High School or for any future Dutch Lions home game.

The USL W-League teams will face off at 5:30 p.m. local time, followed by the USL PRO teams at 8 p.m.
