Three weeks ago, at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, the host Strikers played the visiting NSC Minnesota Stars to a 1-1 draw in North American Soccer League play.
Three weeks later, the host team was the Stars Saturday, but they again played to a 1-1 draw to the Strikers.
Fort Lauderdale took the lead on a 35th minute penalty kick from Eduardo Coudet, but, in the 88th minute, Simone Bracalello had an unassisted goal to force both teams to take one point in the standings.
Both teams are now tied for fourth place at 1-1-3 with five points.
The Strikers have two games this week -- at the Carolina RailHawks Wednesday, then host FC Tampa Bay this Friday, while the Stars host the Atlanta Silverbacks next Saturday.
