Castillo Extends FC Dallas' Unbeaten Streak To Five Games, Shutout Streak To 309 Minutes

Fabian Castillo assisted on Brek Shea's 29th minute goal and got help from Jackson Gonclaves and Marvin Chavez on his 43rd minute goal as FC Dallas extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a 2-0 shutout over the Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer play Saturday from Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX.

Dallas has not allowed a opponent to score a goal in the last 309 minutes, the second-longest streak this season behind the Columbus Crew's 414-minute stretch earlier on.

Dallas, at 5-3-2 with 17 points, has the best record of any team in the league or the Western Conference, but are tied for the conference lead with the defending regular season and Supporters Shield champion Los Angeles Galaxy (4-2-5). The Hoops will host Real Salt Lake next Sunday.

Philadelphia, losers of their last three games, are in second place in the Eastern Conference at 4-3-2 with 14 points, putting them two points behind the New York Red Bulls (4-1-3, 15) for the conference lead. The Union will welcome the Chicago Fire this Saturday.
