Rachel Buehler scored a goal in the 53rd minute off a Kelly Smith assist as the host Boston Breakers shut out Sky Blue FC 1-0 in Women's Professional Soccer play from Harvard University Sunday.
The Breakers are 2-2-0 with six points and are tied with magicJack (2-0-0), formerly the Washington Freedom, for second place in the league standings. Boston will travel to the Philadelphia Independence, who, at 0-1-1 with a point, are tied with Sky Blue (0-1-1) for last place in the table.
Sky Blue will travel to Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, NY to face the league-leading Western New York Flash this Friday.
