Orlando Bayona scored both of the Laredo Heat's goals in 2-1 win USL Premier Development League victory over the expansion RGV Gramdes at Edinburg Field in Edinburg, TX Saturday.
Alfonso Cavazos had the Grandes' lone goal.
The Heat are 3-1-0 with nine points and tied for second place in the Southern Conference's Mid-South Division with the West Texas United Sockers (3-3-0), Laredo travels to the New Orleans Jesters Friday.
RGV is winless in their first four games and are tied for last place with the Baton Rouge Capitals, who have lost their first teo games and host the Grandes Friday.
