Battery's Surge Pulls Off Come-From-Behind Win Over City Islanders

After giving up a goal by Jose Agudelo off a David Schofield assist six minutes into the game for a lead that held into the second half, the host Charleston Battery got recharged and defeated the Harrisburg City Islanders 2-1 Saturday in USL PRO play at Blackbaud Stadium.

In the 61st minute, Stephen Armstrong had an unassisted goal, then Seedy Bah assisted Nicki Patterson on the game-winning goal in the 87th minute.

Charleston is 5-4-2 with 17 points and is in fourth place in the American Division. The Battery will travel this Friday to play FC New York, then head to the City Islanders next Saturday.

Harrisburg, 1-3-2 with five points and in fifth place in the National Division, will host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Tuesday before having their rematch with Charleston at Skyline Sports Complex.
