Shaka Bangura's goal in the 82nd minute allowed the Richmond Kickers, the best team in USL PRO and its American Division, to walk out of the Skyline Sports Center at City Island with a 1-1 draw to the Harrisburg City Islanders Saturday.
After a scoreless first half, Nelson Becarra put Richmond's six-game winning streak to start the season in jeopardy with an unassisted 56th minute goal.
Richmond is now 6-0-1 with 19 points and will next play at the Charleston Battery May 24.
Harrisburg is 1-1-2 with five points and is tied for third place in the National Division with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and FC New York, both at 1-3-2. The City Islanders next host Orlando City Soccer Club next Sunday.
