Mike Ambersley was assisted by Aaron King in the 74th minute as host FC Tampa Bay played to a 1-1 draw to the Atlanta Silverbacks in North American Soccer League play from Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, FL Saturday.
Atlanta took a 1-0 lead into halftime as Mario Perez assisted Willie Hunt on a goal in the final minute of the first half.
Tampa Bay is 1-1-2 with five points and tied for fourth in the league standings with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and the NSC Minnesota Stars, who all share the same record. Tampa Bay hosts the Carolina RailHawks this Saturday.
Atlanta (0-3-1, one point) is tied for last place in the league with the Montreal Impact (0-2-1, one point) and will travel to FC Edmonton this Saturday.
