Albright's All Right After Hernia Surgery; Out 6-8 Weeks

New York Red Bulls defender Chris Albright, who has not played for the Major League Soccer franchise this season, underwent successful sports hernia surgery in Santa Monica, CA Tuesday and will be out for the next six to eight weeks.

Albright, a three-time MLS Cup winner acquired January 14, 2010 via a trade with the New England Revolution for a second round and a third round pick in the 2010 SuperDraft, had two assists in 18 starts for the Red Bulls and was named the league's Comeback Player of the Year after missing all of the 2009 season at New England.
