Ameera Abdullah's unassisted 46th minute goal gave the visiting Colorado Rush a 1-0 victory over the host Victoria Highlanders in USL W-League play Wednesday at Bear Mountain Stadium, but put the Rush (2-0-0, six) into a four-way tie for the lead in the Western Conference with the Vancouver Whitecaps and the Pali Blues, both at 2-0-0, and the Los Angeles Strikers (2-2-0, six points).
The Rush will play the the Whitecaps Friday, then head to the Seattle Sounders Sunday.
Victoria, winless in its first six games as an expansion franchise at 0-5-1 with a point, are tied for last place with Seattle. The Highlanders next face the Colorado Force on the road June 3.
