Whitecaps, Sporting Kansas City Tie At Empire Field

Camilo scored two goals and worked with Nizar Khalfan to assist Atiba Harris on a goal but the host Vancouver Whitecaps played to a 3-3 draw with Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer action Saturday at Empire Field.

Teal Bunbury had a brace for Kansas City and got another goal from Kei Kamara.

Both teams are now 1-1-1 on the season with four points and are tied for fourth place in their respective divisions -- Vancouver with the San Jose Earthquakes in the Western Conference, SKC with the Chicago Fire, Toronto FC and the Columbus Crew.

The Whitecaps travel to the Houston Dynamo ext Sunday, while Kansas City is off until April 16 when they continue their 10-game, season-opening road trip against the Crew.
