Collen Warner assisted on goals by Chris Schuler in the 28th minute and Paulo Araujo, Jr. in the 47th as Real Salt Lake shut out the New England Revolution 2-0 Saturday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA to remain undefeated in the 2011 Major League Soccer season.
RSL, the 2009 MLS Cup champion, are now 3-0-0 with nine points, tying them with the defending league champion Colorado Rapids (3-1-0) for the lead in the Western Conference, and both are tied with the Eastern Conference's Philadelphia Union (3-1-0) for the best record in MLS this season. RSL next hosts the Rapids Wednesday at Rio Tinto Stadium.
The Revolution are second in the Eastern Conference at 1-1-3 with six points, three points behind the Union in the conference table. New England will travel to the Houston Dynamo next Sunday.
