The USL W-League's 2011 season has yet to begin, but the league announced Friday the Central South Carolina Cobras will join as a 2012 season expansion team.
The franchise will be owned by Ewell Gordon and will be an entity of Optimal Physical Performance, LLC, a company specializing in integrated physical performance training for professional and elite-level athletes.
The Cobras' coaching staff will be Glad Bugariu and Sandy Burns, head and assistant coach, respectively, at South Carolina State University.
