Valentino Gives Lions Fans Something To Love In Game-Winning Goal

Rob Valentino had an unassisted goal at the half-hour mark as Orlando City Soccer Club shut out the Charlotte Eagles 1-0 in USL PRO play Saturday at Charlotte Christian Stadium.

Orlando City, also known as the Lions, are now 2-1-0 with six points and are tied for second in the American Division with the Charleston Battery (2-0-0), four points behind the Richmond Kickers (3-0-0, nine points) for the division lead. Puerto Rico United plays Orlando City this Friday at the Florida Citrus Bowl.

The Eagles are winless in the first two games of the season and host FC New York next Saturday.
