US Soccer Corrects Error, Suspends SKC's Diop For Saturday's MLS Game

US Soccer Friday rescinded a red card and one-game suspension handed down to Sporting Kansas City defender Aurelian Collin for actions in the 75th minute of a Major League Soccer game last Saturday against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA and issued them to midfielder Birahim Diop, who will miss this Saturday's game at the New York Red Bulls.

MLS' Disciplinary Committee originally ruled Collin should have been ejected from the game for violent conduct but, after further video review by US Soccer, they overturned the original decision, claiming MLS misidentified the person involved in the incident.
