Michael Tetteh's unassisted goal in the 70th minute gave the visiting Seattle Sounders a 1-0 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer Reserve Division play Sunday at the Nutrilite Training Facility in San Jose, CA.
It was the Sounders' opening game in the division, while the Earthquakes have a 1-1-0 record with four points.
Both teams will next face Chivas USA -- Seattle next Sunday at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA; San Jose at home April 23.
