Spain and the Netherland remain the top two teams in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Men's Soccer Rankings, released Wednesday, but the top ten has seen some shuffling since the last poll.
Brazil rose two spots from fifth to third, Germany fell a spot from third to fourth, and Argentina, who played the US Men's National Team to a 1-1 draw March 26 at New Meadowlands Stadium, dropped from fourth to fifth.
England and Uruguay held onto their sixth and seventh place spots, with Portugal advancing one place to eighth.
Italy cracked the top ten for the first time this year at ninth, up two from 11th last month, with Croatia holding down the tenth spot, dropping one place.
Greece, last month's tenth-ranked team, fell out of the top ten, dropping to 12th.
The US are the highest-ranked team in CONCACAF at 22nd, falling three spots from 19th after the draw to Argentina and a 1-0 loss to Paraguay three days later at LP Field in Nashville.
The Americans won't play again until June 4 when they face Spain at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
The next monthly rankings will be released May 18.
