The Rochester Rhinos of USL PRO announced Tuesday they have signed midfielder J.C. Banks to a contract for the 2011 season and signed defender Anthony Stovall to a 21-day deal.

Banks, son of Jimmy Banks, who played 35 times between 1986 and 1991 for the US Men's National Team and was named to the 1990 US World Cup team, was the eighth overall pick of Toronto FC in the 2010 Major League Soccer SuperDraft out of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he scored a 12th-best-in-the-nation 12 goals and a 13th-best-in-the-nation 30 points in 2010, earning spots on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Second Team Great Lakes All-Region Team, the College Soccer News Third Team Al-American Team, and the All-Horizon League First Team.

In 2009, Banks was the first player from the soccer program to be named the Horizon League Player of the Year.

Stovall played 48 career games for the Cleveland City Stars in USL First Division between 2007 and 2009 and played four games for the USL-1's Charlotte Eagles.
