Pumas Sign McFayden, Andrew, Lubin, Roca For 2011

The Kitsap Pumas, who play outdoor soccer in the USL Premier Development League and indoors for the Professional Arena Soccer League, announced Wednesday they have signed forwards Kendell McFayden and Chris Andrew, goalkeeper Zac Lubin and defender Sam Roca for the 2011 USL PDL season, which opens for them Sunday at the Vancouver Whitecaps and May 18 at home against the Victoria Highlanders.

McFayden had a goal in four games last season with the Austin Aztex of the USSF Division 2 Pro League. The Aztex relocated to Orlando and are now the Orlando City Soccer Club of USL PRO.

Anrdew and Lubin are both rookies in the PDL.

Andrew had 10 goals and six assists in his senior season at the University of Montana-Billings Yellow Jackets.

Lubin played at St. Martin's University under long-time head coach Rob Walker.

Roca, a native of New Jersey, played college soccer at the University of South Carolina and High Point University and was previously with the PDL's Nashville Metros.
