Pumas Sign Five For Upcoming Season

The Kitsap Pumas, who play year-round between the outdoor USL Premier Development League and the indoor Professional Arena Soccer League, re-signed Steve Mohn and Robby Christner, and welcomed Graham Davidson, Elliott Fauske and Manny Hernandez to their PDL roster Thursday, according to the Kitsap Sun.

Mohn was the first player signed by the franchise in 2009 and has played his first two seasons at right fullback.

Christner was the team's leading scorer in the PDL last season before he had to have sports hernia surgery.

Davidson played his first season of collegiate soccer at Olympic College in Washington state, where Pumas assistant coach James Ritchie is their head coach. He also competed in a March open tryout, along with Guadalajara, Mexico native Hernandez.

Fauske will be on his fourth PDL team in as many seasons after playing for the Spokane Spiders, Yakima Reds and Cascade Surge. He finished the PASL season tied as the team's leading scorer.
