Portillo Returns To Capitals; Livingston Leaves NPSL

The Baton Rouge Capitals of the USL Premier Development League announced the re-signing Monday of Justin Portillo and the welcoming of newcomer James Livingston, a native of Liverpool, England.

Portillo played with the Capitals in 2010 as a high school senior, but in 2011, he led Coastal Carolina to the NCAA Men's College Cup tournament by helping the school win the Big South Conference postseason tournament to clinch an automatic berth.

Livingston played last season at NCAA Division II Ashland University, where he was a three-time First Team All-Conference and All-Region player, as well as an All-American. He also played for the semi-pro National Premier Soccer League.
