MLS Announces Week 3 AT&T Goal Of The Week Nominees

Major League Soccer Monday announced the five nominees for the AT&T Goal of the Week award for Week 3 of the 2011 season.

Fans can view the scoring plays of the nominees by visiting www.mlssoccer.com/att-goal-week and can vote for their choice either online or via their cell phone by texting GOAL to 22442 and typing in the code for their particular favorite. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time Thursday with the winner to be announced Friday.

The nominees are (with codes next to them) Caleb Folan of the defending MLS champion Colorado Rapids (G1), Teal Bunbury of Sporting Kansas City (G2), Khari Stephenson of the San Jose Earthquakes (G3), Stephen McCarthy of the New England Revolution (G4) and Dane Richards of the New York Red Bulls (G5).
