Matt Bouraee scored the game's lone goal unassisted in the 77th minute as the Puerto Rico Islanders of the North American Soccer League shut out USL PRO's Charleston Battery in their final preseason game Wednesday at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, SC.
The Battery open USL PRO play at home Saturday against the Charlotte Eagles.
