Max Griffin was assisted by Devorn Jorsling in the 43rd minute and Lewis Neal in the 71st minute as Orlando City Soccer Club opened their 2011 USL PRO home schedule Saturday at the Florida Citrus Bowl with a 3-0 rout of FC New York.
Yordany Alvarez sandwiched a goal between Griffin's in the 54th minute.
Orlando City will face the Charlotte Eagles on the road next Saturday. FC New York, meanwhile, gets time to lick its wounds before facing the Eagles at Charlotte Christian Stadium April 23.
