FC New York of USL PRO announced the signing Tuesday of midfielder Quame Holder to a two-year deal.
Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, his family moved to Brooklyn when he was 13. He began playing the game on the nationally ranked U-18 New Rochelle (NY) Storm Riders and spent the last two seasons on the U-23 team of Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls.
FC New York opens their 2011 season on the road Saturday against Orlando City Soccer Club at the Florida Citrus Bowl and then hosts them April 30.
