For the fourth straight time in the preseason, FC Tampa Bay of the North American Soccer League shut out an opponent, this time being the University of South Florida 3-0 Sunday at the USF Soccer Complex in Tampa.
Keith Savage led Tampa Bay with an unassisted goal in the 23rd minute and an assist on Aaron King's 62nd minute goal. Omar Jarun also scored on a David Hayes assist in the 71st minute.
FC Tampa Bay opens their NASL schedule by hosting the Montreal Impact Saturday.
