Earthquakes, Sounders Play To Draw At Buck Shaw Stadium

The host San Jose Earthquakes and the Seattle Sounders played to a 2-2 tie in Major League Soccer action Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

Simon Douglas (32nd minute) and Khari Stephenson (52nd minute) had goals for the Earthquakes, while Brad Evans (17th minute) and O'Brian White (42nd minute) scored for the Sounders.

San Jose is 1-1-1 with four points and tied for fourth in the Western Conference standings with the Vancouver Whitecaps and will host Toronto FC this Saturday.

Seattle is in sixth place in the Western standings at 0-2-2 with two points and they will host the Chicago Fire this Saturday.
