Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo, on the final day international players can freely join the league until the next transfer window opens in June, Friday announced the signing of Spainish forward Sergio Koke and Jamaican midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson.
Koke, born with the last name of Contreras, scored 30 league goals over the last five seasons with Arus FC in Greece, two of those seasons as their captain. He led Aris to the Greek Cup final in 2009-10 and the knockout phase of the UEFA Europa League.
He has also played for Malaga in Spain, Marseille in France and Sporting Lisbon in Portugal.
Watson, who has been on an extended trial period with the Dynamo, last played as team captain for Jamaica's Sporting Central and eight times for his country's men's national team.
The Dynamo return to action Sunday at Robertson Stadium when they host the New England Revolution.
