Midfielder Branko Boskovic of Major League Soccer's DC United tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the 85th minute of Tuesday's Lamar Hunt US Open Soccer Championship play-in qualifier at the Maryland SoccerPlex, according to The Washington Post Friday.
He scored two second-half goals but was initially diagnosed with a concussion after he took a number of hard tackles, but an MRI result came back negative.
Boskovic did not travel with the team to Houston, where they faced the Houston Dynamo.
