Mississippi Brilla of the USL Premier Development League added five more players to their 2011 roster Thursday in forwards David Palmer and Marc Josephs (no relation), defender Shaun Herselman, midfielder Jamie Bladen, and goalkeeper Brendan Moore.
Palmer, a native of Galeshead, England, had nine goals and four assists in his final season at Lees-McRae College in 2010 and was named to the Second Team All-Region and All-Conference teams.
Josephs, a native of Haiti who played in 2010 at the University of Mobile (AL), had four goals and three assists.
Herselman, from Johannesburg, South Africa, led Tyler (TX) Junior College to a National Junior College Athletic Association title last season and has transferred to University of North Carolina-Pembroke.
Bladen, from Doncaster, England, played with Palmer at Lees-McRae and had one goal and four assists last season, but has now transferred to University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Moore spent time with the US U-17 Men's National Team before red-shirting his freshman season at North Carolina.
The Brilla open their 2011 USL PDL season at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS May 13 against FC Jax.
