As has been expected for some time, the Major Indoor Soccer League announced Friday the Wichita Wings will return to the league as an expansion team in the 2011-12 season.
The Wings, who played in the original MISL from 1979 to 2001, will play home games at 6,500-seat Hartman Arena in Park City, KS.
