Major League Soccer's Vancouver Whitecaps announced the signings Tuesday of goalkeeper Brian Sylvestre, defender Bilal Duckett and defender/midfielder Jeb Brovsky.
Sylvestre is the team's third Home Grown Player, joining midfielders Philippe Davies and Nizar Khalfan.
In February 2010, the native of Hollywood, FL joined the team's Residency Program and, a month later, started all three games in the U-19 Super Group at Dallas Cup XXX1.against Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt, the 1991-92 US National Team and the Mexican National Team.
He last took part in a training camp for the US U-20 National Team in January in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Duckett was the 37th overall pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and started at right fullback for Notre Dame in his junior and senior seasons and was named twice to the Big East Conference's Academic All-Star Team in 2009 and 2010.
Brovsky was the 19th overall pick in the same SuperDraft and also played with the Fighting Irish, where he was named three times to the All-Big East Conference Championship Team and four times to the conference's Academic All-Star team.
