The Western Mass Pioneers of the USL Premier Development League announced the signings Tuesday of five players -- midfielders Kyle Clancy, James Mooney and Jack Reid, defender Trey Jasenski and forward Spencer Noon.
Clancy and Jasenski played for Pioneers head coach Joe Calabrese in the 2010 PDL season with the Albany BWP Highlanders.
Clancy was second in the PDL in assists last season with nine.
Now the head coach of the men's soccer team at The Sage Colleges in Albany, NY, he had a school record 171 points on 75 goals and 21 assists at Dominican College.
Jasenski began his college soccer career at UNLV but transferred to Binghampton University, where he started 15 games in 2010.
Reid also have previous PDL experience playing for the 2010 Eastern Conference Champion Reading United AC. He started out playing in the youth system of Nottingham Forest in England's Championship, or second division.
Mooney and Noon both played at Amherst College, who finished the 2010 NCAA Division III season ranked tenth in the country.
Mooney had 18 goals and eight assists in three seasons there, while Moon had 20 goals and eight assists in two seasons.
