Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union announced the signings Tuesday of goalkeeper Thome Holder and midfielder Ryan Richter.
Holder played at Adelphi University and also learned his craft under current Union coach Rob Vartughian at the University of Maryland.
Richter was selected during the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft, but did not sign a guaranteed contract.
