Major League Soccer's Toronto FC Thursday signed midfielder Alen Stevanovic and forward Joao Plate.
Stevanovic was co-owned by Torno FC of Italy's Serie B and Inter Milan of Serie A before leaving Toronto in July 2010.
He debuted for his home country, Serbia, on the U-21 National Team against Macedonia and began his professional career for Serbia's Radnicki Obrenovac.
Plata was selected by Toronto with the 49th overall pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and previously played at LDU Quito, Moreno, Barcelona and Guayaquil SC.
