Major League Soccer's two newest teams, the Portland Timbers and the Vancouver Whitecaps, played to a 1-1 draw Saturday in the second day of the Cascadia Summit, a three-team, round-robin tournament also featuring the Seattle Sounders, at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA.
Five minutes into the game, Ryan Pore scored an unassisted goal for the Timbers, but an own goal by Portland's David Horst in the 36th minute caused the draw.
The Whitecaps end the tournament Sunday by playing the host Sounders.
