The Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League announced the signing Wednesday of midfielder Mike Palacio, who played his last two seasons in Serbia for FK Radnicki Obrenovac.
The 21st overall pick in the 2009 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft by the New York Red Bulls, he was hampered by a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but he scored eight goals and four assists in 14 games for the Long Island Rough Riders in the USL Premier Development League.
