The Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Eduardo Coudet Monday.
Born in Buenos Aires, Coudet began his professional career in 1993 with Platense in his home country.
In 1999, he joined River Plate and led them to three championshp titles.
He signed a Major League Soccer contract last summer with the Philadelphia Union and earned a roster spot.
