Sporting Kansas City Announces Name Of New Stadium

Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City, formerly the Kansas City Wizards, announced Tuesday their new $200 million stadium built in Kansas City, KS will be called LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.

LIVESTRONG is branded to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, created by the chanpion cyclist and cancer survivor in 1997 to help people deal with cancer and is the first non-profit organization to get the naming rights to a professional sports arena.

The stadium will hold 18,500 for soccer and 25,000 for concerts and will be a completely non-smoking facility.
